Typical Australian wall and ceiling wastage
Plasterboard wastage is typically 10% on rectangular walls and up to 15% on rooms with many openings or beams. Our defaults reflect common Australian trade allowances, and can be adjusted upwards for non-standard geometry or downwards where experience supports a lower figure.

On-site considerations for drywall tape
